Well, I bought a few things a couple of days ago from 2peas. I hadnt gotten anything since I purchased my album & some other things for the December Daily project. In fact, I have been super good about not buying (or that could be very bad, it all depends how you look at it, ha!) anything at all. I havent even been to Michaels, Joann's, nowhere since before Halloween! And so because I have been *great* I thought it was time to break the chains and go free, ha! These r some of the collections I bought. Why the Christmas stuff? Because these r the ones I would LOVE for my December Daily (God willing) this year. Love both of them so I wanted to make sure I had them before they run out for good. I love colors for Christmas but I dont know if I'll be in the mood for a little change and thats why I got Winterpark. I also purchased more paper, and other goodies such as pearls, twine, etc...

Then I went in Papertrey Ink and I knew I was in trouble, ha! I wanted to purchase a die for a stamp set I bought sometime last year and one thing escalated into another and next thing I knew, "oh oh!" I was pressing that "click"! Now I am here waiting impatiently for the 2 days of arrival from 2peas (my very favorite place for scrapbook supplies) and PaperTreyInk (a growing favorite place).

I am also working on an idea I saw on Nichol's blog (my favorite scrapper). I have started a month in review project. It's 1 layout every month featuring pics taken during that particular month and with the Kelli Bradford photo masks is pretty easy to do. I am only waiting to put 4 more pics to fill the mask I'm working on and I'll have a 1 page with 32 pics. This gives me the chance to use those beautiful outlined month titles that I have been wanting to use since I first got the Silhouette. So I'll be showing that here soon.

I wanted to say THANK YOU for all the people that have contacted me thru youtube and thru other people to tell me that they were going to miss my blog. That was really sweet! Thank you. I know that lots of you come in here on a daily basis. 95% dont leave comments :( but its ok, I understand because I do the same thing but again, thanks for stopping by the blog.
I have been super busy this month. We just celebrated Mia's 3rd birthday and we had a great time. I fixed up a video to show on Facebook but I wanted to share it here too. She is obsessed with Ni-Hao, Kai-Lan so I made a chinese theme for her, I did everything in a week so there was only so much that I was able to obtain. The only thing I regret is not getting my friend Sahily (photographer) this time. Next party, for sure. btw it is true what they say, the 1st child always gets more of everything, especially *time*,ha!

And speaking of videos, I have done a couple, having lots of fun creating those and they are on my youtube channel. So I plan to continue making them at least until this fever cools down, ha!

Hi bloggers! Well, I gave up on the picture thingy. Dont have time for that right now. So I did a quick video showcasing my December Daily 2011. Of course pages always look better in pictures and even more irl but you'll get the idea.

I really hope some (or all) of you try this next Christmas. It was a little hectic some days but I am glad I stuck with it because I love the finished album. I did lots of journaling here. I always like to go back to read the notes on my pages and I find that when I go back & read those journalings most of the time I dont think or see things that way anymore. It goes to show you how every day we learn more and more and how we just get more experience in life.

So here goes: I hope you like it :)

Merry Christmas!!! (Day6,7,8,9)

I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas with your loved ones. We had a really nice, lazy but FUN Christmas day at home. It was so relaxed that instead of making what I usually make which is pork, ham, rice, beans, salad, etc., my hubby and I were in the mood for chicken soup! so that is exactly what we had all day long. It was sooooo delicious! We watched Christmas movies, play video games, hugged and kissed in the couch all day long. I have so much to be thankful for, especially this year. So the soup was so good that I made another pot on Monday, ha!

Ok, so I am a little behind on the blog, ha! I am behind in almost everything right now but I learned in 2010 that things will get done when they get done and it will be okay. I will no longer go out of my way for things that dont
matter much or stress out about them. So here is day 6.
I created a pocket by just cutting one of the sheet protectors in half. I didnt sew it on the end, I just left it like that. This day was about my awesome hubby. The best husband in the world without a doubt! Awww he is so good. **omg is cold in Miami! Finally! Cause we almost went in the pool on Christmas eve ;)**
Anyway, I did the journaling on the photo and added one of our favorite songs.

I dont know if I mentioned on my previous post but I plan on making a short video of my album soon.

Here is Day 7. It was focusing on my daughter and me cooking away in the kitchen. So fun. I took the journaling out to keep it private but it goes on the popcorn/gingerbread pp on the 2nd page.

Day 8. I had a lot of fun on this one because on this day Cristian decided to behave bad and little did he know Santa was going to send a message that day to him. He was not happy to find out he had gotten into the naughty list for the 1st time in his life. Lets just say I regretted doing this about 2 seconds after he saw it because I had to calm him down for about 2 days after that, ha! The journaling goes on the long 2x8 in strip and you'll see it better on the video but I dont want it to be readable so I took it out.

Day 9. This 1 is one of my favorites. I erased some personal info but you get the idea. This was a very fun, Christmasy day for us.

December Daily Day 5

Day 5. Well, this is a Monday and nothing much was happening that day except the usual, school, taking care of Mia, baths, etc. But I was able to capture Mia standing on the cocktail table looking at our North Pole village. She does this every single night before she drinks her milk and I just thought it was so sweet.
Super easy & quick page. I used my Silhouette on this one and used 1 of the Project Life (BH) tags. My journaling is the Silent Night song and then a little journaling explaining what she does every night. After taking the pictures I added a string of bling to separate the song from the journaling. After I finish the album I plan to make a video so you'll see the whole thing :)

CRISTIAN- FAR RIGHT :)

I know that I am super behind on my posting but now that my son and hubby are on vacation I plan on posting more regularly. I have been very, very busy and my time is very very very VERY limited! It feels like I have lived in Cristian's school for about a month! So here are some fun pics of my son and all the activities he is involved in. The choir went to Dadeland mall to perform and they did so beautiful. Here is a little video of like 10 I took, its a little shaky cause I was taking pics at the same time. They also had the Christmas show as well as other things such as: Operation Christmas child, can drive, garage sale, etc. So needless to say I was so tired but now I am excited because our time of fun (in Jesus name) starts! YES!!!!

December Daily Day 4

Hello blog friends: Here is Day 4. I have another pocket between the 2 pages. This pocket is around 6x6in and its just a fun little element to have here and there for a more interactive album I guess you can say.
Day 4 focuses on Cristian getting in trouble and going to bed the whole day on Sunday (some times it calls for extreme measures) but I still wanted to somehow keep it Christmasy and so this title from the Silhouette store did the trick.
If you are starting or about to (Hi, Lori!) start this fun project my #1 recommendation is that you get a day to prepare most or all of your album with the basics: pics, journaling & your patterned papers.

As you are able to tell on my last picture I have prepared my album so that I wouldn't be pulling my hairs now. I tackled this the weekend of Thanksgiving, I even did the pockets for the kids' letters for Santa. I spent about 3-4 hours cutting papers, making pockets, sewing, etc. So much fun!!!

December Daily Day 3

Hello blog friends. Today I want to show you Day 3. I know its the 7th but I have to edit my other pics and plus I dont want to put all the days in 1 post. So anyway, here it goes.

MARK YOUR SHEET PROTECTOR

This was Saturday and we had an amazing time. The kind of Saturdays I wish I had ALL the time. Full of cheer, laughters, happy kids and awesome friends. For this day I kept the 2 page spread and I added a "pocket" in between.
Here is how I did it so that you get a straight stitch. I got 1 of the 8x8 sheet protectors and placed it on my paper cutter. With a Sharpie, Zig, whatever you have (yes, it will get removed) I mark every inch or so down like I show here on the pic. I then zigzag stitch keeping a close eye on the marks and making sure they go straight in the middle of the foot. I do zigzag because it looks super straight when I'm done :) then I cut the excess with the paper trimmer and I am left with a super cute, straight stitched pocket. The good thing is that you can make any size or shape you want.

Okay, so I am a little behind on the blog but NOT on my Daily. I am actually loving this album. If you've never done something like this I highly recommend it. It's doable *IF* you prepare yourself in advance.
The 1st thing I did was choose album & the paper company I wanted to use. I went with October Afternoon but had 2 other lines that went well with it so I decided on those 3. I put aside all the papers, embellishments, stamps, etc. I thought it would go well with the collection and went from there. I also bought extra page protectors to create pockets and such.
I prepared my album all the way to Dec 21 so that all I have to worry about is basically the photo and journaling. Of course you'll add a few things here and there when you are working on it but you dont have to. You can always come back after Christmas to add the fun stuff but I rather just finish it the same day.
So Day 2 for me was extra fun. I got to meet my super sweet nephew Justin. My awesome friend Monica gave birth 6 weeks ago and he is just delicious. Lucky me, I will see him again (God willing) this Wednesday. The empty tag now has private info. that I didn't want to share here.

Omgosh! It's been forever! I wanted to let you know that I started my December Daily and I am totally loving it. This is my 1st time creating one of these and I can already tell this will be 1 of my favorite and most cherished albums.
So I'll be sharing on almost a daily basis (at least that is what I plan to do :) my progress. I have already started my album and I am up to Dec 21st, so keeping it day by day *should* be very easy, especially since its a slow month with Cristian & hubby's vacation. My awesome friend Teri is also doing hers and we are having lots of fun together talking about different ideas we have and stuff. It's always funner when a friend joins the journey.
I'll also be sharing some pics of our Christmas decorations. This year we have 6 trees. 2 little ones (3ft) well, thats more like a plant, HA! and 3 5ft and my 12 ft tree. Needless to say I feel like I have been decorating for a whole year!!! But I feel GREAT now! Thank you, Jesus.

**Speaking of feeling GREAT (thanks to my Lord) to the person that is spreading rumors that I have R.A., shame on you. Who told you that I was diagnosed with anything because I sure did not? And what is worse, I told YOU about my stress situation & stuff and there you are making things up. Unbelievable. Well, actually, very believable knowing you. There are plenty of things you should be doing for yourself right now. Really, you are just too sad to even speak about.**

Anyway, back to the fun, happy me :) here are the pics. I am using a variety of companies but my papers are from October Afternoon, Jilly Bean Soup, Kraft paper from PaperTreyInk (the best one imo) & Echo Park. I am using everyone and their mother for the embellishments and I am trying (hard) not to cut on my Silhouette (title on the Intro page is a Sil. cut, ha!) because I don't want to spend more than 30 min. (including editing & printing pictures) making the 2 page spread. This album will be simple with minimum effort & almost zero techniques. ARE YOU READY FOR YOUR CHRISTMAS SHOPPING?? AHAHAHAHAHAHAH aaawww I remember the days when by today I had 75% of my shopping done. HA!

Anywhooo, I waited the whole month to blog about this. I just wanted to make sure that this feeling was real and not a one day thing. For the 1st time in my life I did not decorate for Halloween. I didn't have the desire for it either. I remember last year I had a really fun & scary setting in the front door with those blinking, blue lights and sounds of witches, my cool, scary butler (mia didnt see these things though), etc...And I remember feeling uncomfortable about it. I didn't like to see that stuff in my house. I remember I was coming back from trick or treating with the kids and as I am approaching my house I get this yucky feeling about the whole thing. A few days before that our Pastor had come to our house to watch some basketball with hubby and I asked him about it because that weird feeling was going thru my mind and I didnt know how to handle it, after all I had always loved all holidays and loved to decorate my home. So I asked him and he said, pray about it and God will put the answer in your heart.

Well, as soon as September came I was eager to decorate my home but I wanted it different this time. I decorated it with fall/harvest decor. I came in here changed my blog to what would be the norm for me, a halloween theme and when October came I didnt care for ANY Halloween decor at all. I guess I am now really & truly aware of what it really represents. And that is what I dont like. Hubby asked me about 2 weeks ago if I was going to decorate for halloween to bring the big things from our storage unit and I said, "no, i have no desire." and he said to me, "good, cause I dont have it either." And the great thing is that Cristian is feeling the same way.

I still find costumes fun and stuff, I still like my witch collection & my Dept 56 Halloween village but, will I ever put them up again? I dont know but what I do know is that I didn't want that in my home this year. I guess, we will see. I did buy the kiddos their costumes this year. I didn't know how I was really going to feel about it. So Mia will be a super cute Raggedy Ann Doll and Cristian a police officer, which by the way he was one of the best dressed in his school on Spirit week. And he got 1st place n field day. So cute!!!!

For now I decided to give away my witch collection to a very special person and I'm sure he will take good care of them.

So here are some of the things I've made this month. This 2nd card is nowhere near finished but as soon as I took this picture right before I masked the images a big wood stamp fell on top of it ruining the card. Luckily I was able to save almost the whole card but the left part with the 1st pumpkin had to be cut. I'll do it again this week and show you on another post. Just wanted to show you the Copic coloring.

...and the new week. Remember you are LOVED, soooo LOVED!!!! There is absolutely nothing to worry about because God takes care of us and gives us exactly what we need when we need it. YES!!!
Speaking of LOVE. I did a layout showing my munchkins love for each other. I mean they really are like bee&honey...salt&pepper...fries&ketchup...Marlin&Nemo...ice-cream&ME! HA!!! And here it is. I used Echo Park (again) Playground collection (again). I like that collection. A lot! The colors on the 1st pic. are weird but I wanted to use it because it was the only one facing forward. You can always click on them to see bigger&better. I die cut the title & the boy&girl with my Silhouette. I had gotten these little kids a while ago and I knew I would use them soon on a layout because it reminded me so much of Cristian & Mia. I also used one of my new Ali Edwards stamps and I am loving them. I had maybe 2 or 3 of the smaller sets that I had gotten about a year ago (maybe more) but I really like these big ones. So I am thinking of signing up for the monthly stamps :)
For my pictures I used a Kerri Bradford photo template that I purchased last night. I love EVERYTHING Kerri Bradford.

I love my Silhouette because I no longer spend hours thinking of the title of my pages or get frustrated when I don't have the letters I need.

Okay, so I have been on a mini vacation since Wed. at noon because Cristian's school's teachers go on a conference and so there is no school for them. So super happy about that! I get to spend more time with my munchkins and I get to play more in my scraproom with less interruptions.

And so I decided to start the whole canvas again. Remember the Jennifer McGuire class I won thru Nichol's blog? Well, I decided to do it and finish it. I started from the 1st heart again and I finished it within 8 hours. I did follow Teri's tip to make everything out of 3x3 first and then run everything thru the Silhouette. Each of the hearts is a different technique. I played with tons of inks, perfect pearls, stamps, watercolor paper, canvas, felt, acetate, metal, paints, dies, dry & heat embossing, etc... I mean, it was just amazing. My fingers/nails are completely blue from all the different medias. I just had a great time!!!

If you are not careful your acetate can curl while you are heat embossing it. This was the LAST one I had from Hero Arts but I have a box of 125 transparencies that they sell at Office Depot and it worked great.

This was definitely the best part because all of the techniques had been done on a 3x3 canvas/watercolor paper/Neenah white CS or glossy paper and all I had to do was cut the hearts on my Silhouette.

And VOILA! Isn't just beautiful!!! I was really impressed with the class, PDF's & videos. Everything came out exactly as she said it would. She (Jennifer McGuire) is just amazing!!!
I am going to put this one in my scraproom but I am creating one for Mia's room with butterflies instead of hearts andI am thinking of using Dear Lizzie fabric paper on all the butterflies.

Creating some more....

Omgosh! I've had a few days feeling out of focus. Have you ever felt like you have shifted? It's like how can I explain...when you stamp something just a tiny touch away from where it needed to be stamped, or when like you click *double cut* on the Silhouette and you forgot you had moved the paper to the side a bit so now all your letters are shifted...like that!!!! I know what it is though. It's the fact that Cristian has a project due next Tue. and this Thursday is the Hispanic dinner in our school. That gets me COO-COO, COO-COO, ha!!
Thank God in this school Cristian hardly has any homework, I mean 10 min. TOPS!! I used to spend hours every day on the homework issue. Im sooo happy and relaxed about that in this new school. Thank you, Jesus!
So anyway, I woke up this morning focused and energized :) And that means CREATE, CREATE, CREATE!
So on my previous post I mentioned that I had done a frame for my Fall decor, well, it turns out that I took it to my super amazing friend Monica (sshhelloo!) on Saturday. She just got a new house (which its soooooo GORGEOUS!!!!!!) so I had to create a new one. This time it'll be a bit different. I want to use some vellum doilies to make the illusion of the doily stamps Nichol used on her project. I know that I'll end up buying those stamps some day but for now I'll try vellum. I am also thinking of spraying some with Mister Huey's, so we'll see how that goes.

So here is the finished product. It took about an hour because I cut everything first and then I started misting, glueing, etc... I loved how the vellum cuts on my Silhouette, like butter! :)
I still need to buy a pretty frame for this but you get the idea. I am also doing one for Christmas, which I started making a design on my Sil. but it is nowhere near finished. I'll post it when I get to it.

Here are some pics of one of the doilies I used, this is a cut I purchased at the Silhouette store. Isnt this amazing!!! Look how intricate these cuts are! Amazing. I just cant say enough good things about this machine. I am writing a letter to Santa this year so that he can get me the Cameo ;) I gotta be extra good for now on. This is it, people! Start behaving good now!!! HA!

My proof that I have learned how to create PDF's, how awesome am I!!! I know, I know, don't mention it :) This was just a little page I did as a test and I just loved it. So who knows I might be doing my own PDF free classes soon! HA!!!
Anyway, I hope you have a FABULOUS weekend. Next week is a super short week for me 'cause Cristian gets out at 12 on Wed and then off Thu & Fri, yes!!!! Creative time in Jesus name!

Ay ay ay!!! Its been fun, busy, fun, busy, fun......
I have so many things to say/show you that I know I'll forget half of it.
This weekend is going to be so awesome. If you are reading before 8:30am I shall be driving to Teri's to start our adventure :) I have a hot date (HA!) with my awesome friends Monica & Teri and Monica's super nice friend Yenny. I am so excited!!! This promises to be nothing but amazing.

Two weeks later....
Hi my blogger buddies...all 314 of you! YIIPPPIEEE (thanks!) I have been creating, creating, creating...As mentioned in my previous post I won the Inspiration Showcase class and it has been amazing. Tomorrow is the last day. It's been 2 weeks with nothing but YUMMINESSSS! I am not finished with my canvas *yet*, I need 2 more supplies so that I can make some new techniques though but I probably get those today IF I go to Pearl. (I didnt. There is always tomorrow, ha!)
I have bought a few...ok who am I kidding? TONS of scrapbooking supplies in the past 3 weeks or so. I wanted to make a haul video but I know it would have been lonnnngggggg so I didnt even attempt to do it, from Mister Hueys mists, stamps, dies, new Halloween, Fall & Christmas paper collections, punches, embossing folders, inks, Memento markers for watercolor stamping, ribbons, glues, special media stuff, Silhouette cuts (lots ;).... On top of that, I've been given some stuff from my friend Teri that she either has doubles or she has bought. SENKIUUUUUUUU!!! I have piles of goodness that I'll pick up & organize when Im done with my canvas, I'm aiming tomorrow night :)

this is completely inspired by my FAVORITE scrapbooker, Nichol. I am going to make this layout soon. As you can see I was able to copy pretty much the same border she made in her AMAZING layout. I love her!!!

oooh this is something I forgot to take a picture of. This was also inspired by the amazing Nichol. And it is now part of the Fall decor in my home. You can't really tell what it is, but HERE is what Nichol did with hers. GORGEOUS!!!

ooh yes! I did this layout for my Christmas yearly album. I am all caught up. This year I am going to do December Daily, also inspired by Nichol. What can I say? I am obsessed with her!

Hello my luvs!!!

I hope you are all doing great and most of you should be very happy that the weekend is *almost* here! Woohoo! I am happy because I'm blessed...and because that hurricane missed us. Whew!! This weekend is also special for us because my prince turns 9 years old! NINE! And we have a little surprise for him.
Anyway, I wanted to show you some things I've worked on, actually I'll do another post for the rest. So here it goes.
Remember when I posted over a month ago that I had done a project that I couldnt show yet. Well, the time is here. I made this little mini album for my friend Monica to give it to her on her baby shower Aug 14 and since she comes in here I had to keep it a secret for a while. She is expecting her 2nd baby. A BOY! and we are soo excited for her.
My super awesome buddy TERI lent me her onesie die from Sizzix. I got TOTALLY inspired by her beautiful mini she had a while back, check it out HERE. She even brought me the same paper collection (and the hanger,ha!) which was great 'cause I didnt have to break my head mix and matching :) woohooo!!!
The little charms (pacifier, high-chair & a word charm) are super old. I got them when I went to CHA Vegas in 2006. All the pages have a spot for a picture and journaling. Hope you like it :)

Hello my luvs!!! Can you believe we are almost in Fall!!! Well, believe it darlings! ha! This year is flying by and that only means that ~~we are getting so old,~~ well never mind.

So, I've been creating a bit :) and getting a few goodies here and there :)

When I had Photoshop CS2 (or4 dont remember) on my HP laptop I used to do these types of photo collages for my layouts ( i gotta take that laptop to be fixed, its brand new, ok focus!) but then I thought iPhoto has to be able to do these things, its Apple! It can do anything! So I decided to give it a try and I did it. Well, something similar anyway. And after this layout I decided I would do more of these types of layouts so you'll see a few of these...unless I forget to take a pic., ha!

So then I decided to add "Christmas morning" layouts to my Christmas album. I've had this album since 2002 which its the year Cristian was born. And so *that* gave me the idea to do a December Daily this year. No, I dont have that much time in my hands but what the heck, I'll give it a try. December Daily is totally inspired by my scrapbook hero, Nichol. She is such an inspiration to me.

So I've gotten a few things from all over the place lately, Oriental Trading, Scrapyland (a trip over there and online), Michaels, Hero Arts, Kerri Bradford (for my Silhouette) & a super sweet gift from Nichol that came thru 2peas, my favorite place :)
I finally got the paper holders I use. I get them at Oriental Trading. I had gotten 2 of the Cropper Hoppers because I had ran out of them but when Teri ordered hers I also ordered mine.
But wait! one of the coolest thing...ok the coolest! I have PHOTOSHOP again!!!! Woohoooo. Thank you, TERI for convincing me to get it again!!!

Here are a few things I've done, bad lighting, its been raining (LOVE) around here almost every day. I've been having lots of fun creating 12x12s lately. So proud of myself :)

I am having lots of fun scrapping at home. I am loving the sewing machine. I started a quilt card today and OMG it is sooo hard!!! the little squares are very small so I stitch more than I have to, ha!!! I need to practice. So since I am not used to sew I forgot to stitch more on the page but I did sew around the pic. The title was given to me by Teri along with the whole Pink Paislee collection. It is sooo cute. Yes!!! I got my toy yesterday and I am so happy. And look who came to bring me all kinds of threads because yes, I had the machine but not the threads, ha! This is Teri and she went to Walmart and got me all kinds of super cute colors and even a plastic container for them. So freaking sweet!!!!

It looks greener on this pic but is not as blue as the other pic. Really cute. So I am off to make a quilt card I saw on the Silhouette store.

I used the Silhouette for the title and label for the journaling.

Hi Blogger buddies! I wanted to share a layout I did. Sorry about the bad light, its been cloudy/rainy and when I took the pics it was dark out. The pink color shows a bit different here and you can hardly see the embossed polka dots on the title but you get the idea.

Speaking of titles, this is one of the thousands of gorgeous cuts from the Silhouette. The tiny dots for the smiley face looks really cute but since that part of the page is very busy I decided to put some googly eyes instead. I also used some Prints&Cuts from the SIL and so that I wouldnt waste photo paper I printed lots of the tabs.

Soooo anywayyyyy, hubby is doing some things around the house (perfect time to scrapbook) because we are getting ready for our CHRISTMAS VILLAGE!!!! Yes!!! You are in no need of eye glasses. We have a pretty big...ok HUGE village and this year hubby has thought of something really cool!!!! And this year my elves are back!!! Yes!!! Hubby has a ~~huge~~ GIGANTIC collection of (Dept 56) Christmas in the City & Dickens and I have an equally ~~huge~~ ENORMOUS (ahahha Im using my words, people!!!) amount of (Dept56) North Pole with the cutest little elves in Miami!!! Yes, we have a storage at Public Storage so we are not bumping into those hairy little people around here. And please dont get me started on our Dept 56 Halloween Village, yikes!
Hubby and I were thinking about all the villages we've done thru the years. Our very 1st village (Christmas in the City) was in the middle of our living room using our chest table that was on December 2000. That year we won at different events tons of things (definitely meant for me) from the North Pole village and hubby did a super cute display on top of our dining table. My hubby decided to collect North Pole for me because it was my favorite. He never thought of the fact that this could be CRRRAZZZYYYY at the time of building though. So by our 2nd year of village madness things had grown a bit ;) Here is a pic. taken on Dec 2001 on hubby's side of the village (I was about 5 days pregnant) w my beautiful prince Cristian. The weird thing about this is that in 1997 when my hubby started collecting Precious Moments for me after my mom died he started buying different village accessories like trees, benches, bridges and I asked him one day, "what is all that for?" and he said, "someday I'll use it" and he sure did. He visualized it and it happened! So more on villages soon :)

***I've decided 2count my layouts...wish me luck. I'll see you in a month!***hahahhaah
Hubby cant believe it so we have a bet...if I win and really have between 1500-1600 layouts I get a goodie if I dont, I dont get *any* goodie for A MONTH!!! I mean ANY!!!
OK, these could very well be antiques!!! Ha!!! Anyway, I came across exactly 536 old layouts!!! Yes, you read correctly. Mind you, I have lots and lots more of the old pages but I just happened to find these on a computer file that was transferred to my external hard-drive and I hadn't seen!!! So that means that I probably have 1,500-1600 layouts (not counting mini albums). I really cant believe it. How did I do this? I have no clue!! Ha! I never thought I could have so many layouts!! I know that when Cristian started school I was ALWAYS at the gym or scrapping. I would make 2-3 layouts daily and there were times that I was constantly scrapping...awwww the good ol'days!!! So let me know if you enjoyed watching these and I'll post more. Some of these pages you might want to click on them to see bigger and if you see a distortion on them is because in the good old days we used to scan these babies and for 12x12 pages you had to merge them in your scanner REMEMBER THAT?!! HA!!!! So here goes....

Sh sh sh shelloooooo!!!! How have you all been? Am doing great, thank God! I have been a bit busy in my scraproom making something I cannot show just yet but I'll show you a bit of the mess. Don't you just love that mess?!!! I do! I love when I am doing something to make a huge mess and then I'll pick it up before I start a new project and make another mess...aaaawww lovely! ha!

Anyway, I wanted to show you my new toy! I have been contemplating this machine for about 2 months and since I hear nothing but great things about it I decided to do it today. It helped when hubby gave me the push I needed. And here it is! Isn't it super cute!!! I *only* want it for my pages and cards (and who knows what other project) so this will be perfect for me. And HELLOO the gorgeous colors and the Hello Kitty!!! I cant wait to get it!!!!

Well, my blog luvs, I have been having lots of fun with my gorgeous munchkins at home, celebrating our anniversary and other fun things :) Hubby spent 10 days here and I was in heaven! Love my family so much :) I was able to take some really nice pics of them and I cant wait to scrap them. I just purchased some really nice summery titles from the SIL store. I am thinking to start right after my post.

Sorry if I am showing you too much of my Copics but I need to get my mind off the things that happened today on the news. Our TV is been off since Tue. but I saw some things in Facebook I didn't like.

So my hubby told me, lets go to Scrapyland, I really didn't feel like going (how can that be?!) but I had to get out of my house for a few hours and so under the rain (LOVING ALL THIS RAIN!!!!) we went. I was just able to get 5 because I either have them or he didn't have them. I did get the clear Spica marker and I cant wait to use them on a few of the Whiff of Joy angel stamps and use it on their wings like my inspiration girl (or my hero like Teri says ahahaha), Nichol. Im missing 2 of the 12 that were released this year and not that many from the rest so I feel really blessed about that. I'll have to show you color chart soon hehhehehe. It's a lovely thing to see :) I actually need to purchase 1 more of the storage cubes because the 2 B's I got today don't fit on that section anymore and the same for the red. I am not missing any from the R's I wont b able to fit anymore. The E's are taking 2 cubes already. There are tons of E's I am now missing 10 of them. Those are the tones am missing the most, along with RV's 10 and YR's 8, Y's 6 the BG's 5, etc...
Then I went to the stamp section and I saw these. I had actually seen 2 others and when I went to pay it was sold out thru the internet :( but I'll get them some other time. The Greeting Farms are absolutely gorgeous! I love them so much! Look at this Cheeky Chat (this is for Teri ahahahhahha) she is wearing white capri jeans w a hot pink top w her long beautiful hair. She is so cute! And Luka, he reminds me of my son and how much he loves to play with his cars and trucks.

After my Dr's appt my hubby took me to Scrapyland but I didn't really want to be there. I didn't look around, we were there for about 15 min. The news drained us (my hubby has also been watching all the programs with me for the past 3years) so much that we got a huge headache and when we got here hubby went to sleep for a few hours. Anyway, I wanted to show you the colors that we got together. We got 40 in total. Im thinking of going back today because I have accumulated a few that I have double, don't know how it happened because I always take my list. I have quite a few things in mind for the fall. Wait, am I thinking of fall already?? someone stop me please!

Thank you so much to all the awesome ladies that called/texted me/ or sent messages on Facebook to let me know that they thought about me today after what happened. I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart that on that moment you thought of me. Thank you.
I actually had a Dr's appt last week and changed it for today because hubby would be here and because I didn't want to miss the verdict thinking it was some time last week or weekend. After 3 years of following this case with HLN, Nancy Grace, TRU, etc. I was not here for the verdict. I know that God always takes care of me and that is why He did it this way. I heard it from someone and it just ripped my heart inside. I felt so sad, I was so hurt. I just couldn't believe it. I was deeply affected by this. I was so hurt inside that my Dr gave me great news about my treatment and stuff (thank you, Jesus) that I didn't say a word about it. I couldn't think of anything. I just wanted to cry. He told my husband, "well, she doesn't look happy like you are about the news" and my hubby was like, no, she is ok. she just cant think right now.
I was numb. I didn't understand, couldn't speak. I just wanted to cry.
Lori (domesticdiva) sent me on Facebook Romans 12:19. Thank you. You are awesome. It calmed me down, it gave me peace. Thank you. And thanks again to all the super amazing ladies that thought of me. Hugs and God Bless :)

this pic was the day before her evil mother murdered her while visiting her great grandpa at a Home.

this is where Caylee's body was thrown. her skull and almost the whole skeletonized body was found after authorities sifted the ground for days. So heartbreaking.

Well, this is a post that I had to schedule for posting because it took me a while to type although it's very short.
Most of you do not know that when this little precious angel disappeared from her home I was a few months pregnant with my own little precious angel and I have followed (unfortunately) *daily* this story, with Nancy Grace and all the interviews and it kind of became an obsession. But who wouldn't get obsessed with this gorgeous face? She was almost 3 years old when her evil mother premeditated, killed and disposed of her in the woods to be eaten to the bones by all types of animals. After she did this horrific act she went on with her life happier than ever, partying at clubs, entering body contests, getting tattoos (Bella Vita=Beautiful life), shopping and having the time of her life. In fact the day after she killed her daughter she spent her whole entire day in bed with her boyfriend.
Thankfully, we have a God that changed in a split second all that horror and is carrying her now in His beautiful and loving arms and she is now more alive that she ever was.
I look at my princess Mia at almost the same age and ask myself, how and why.
As it gets closer to the verdict of this evil monster I found the need of posting this. I just pray that there is justice for Caylee. We should know the verdict by Sunday or Monday and I sadly say that I hope the punishment is the maximum.

I don't know why for the past 3 years I have always felt a connection somehow with beautiful Caylee and the 4th of July. Of course, I do know that her mother was partying big on that day while this little angel was decomposing in the woods. Ironically the evil monster's fate may be read on the 4th of July. I truly hope so. I decided that on that day I will send balloons of Winnie the Pooh with her name to the sky and I know that my dear Jesus will deliver them to her.
I love you, Caylee Marie and I will always have you in my heart.

I am here to show you a layout that I made in about 25 min. last night which its pretty good considering all the details it has. I still need to finish 2 others. I hardly ever put layouts to the side to start another but this just happened, I guess :)
Another thing I noticed is that I have used *purple* on my layouts which I hardly ever do because I am not a fan of that color :(

I (of course :) used the Silhouette for my title and because the paper I used has a sun I didn't print the one that comes with the title. Right on top of that sun I pop-dotted another sun that comes in the sticker sheet from the Springtime Echo Park collection. I *love* that polka dot paper so much. Its called the "growing vines" but this is side b so there r no vines, ahahahah :)
Speaking of sun, it's back :( I love thunder and rainy days so not quite happy with all this shine but I'm ok as long as I have some rain later on...pretty please :)
I have plans on going shopping on the Silhouette store in a little bit. I joined the membership so it allows you to get tons of designs (depending on the membership you get) and so I will be happy shopping soon :)

Ooh!! did I just make up a new post theme for my blog on Fridays?? Hmmm lets see how long it lasts, ha!!! Why Scrapping Fun Friday? Because I am scrapping. Because I'm having so much FUN and because it's Friday! ha!
I have got to tell you my blogger buddies that honestly and truthfully the Silhouette SD is making me *very* happy. I was talking to TERI about it and she totally gets it! For ex. Lets talk TITLES. How important are those little (or big) words on our layouts?? VERY! I bet those titles take you a long time to come up with, huh? And once you know what you want to name your page then the next ? is, do I have enough letters? Am I right?
I would always struggle so much with them because even though I have tons of letter stickers, letter chips, etc...for some reason its always hard to find the perfect size, color, shape, etc... and if you want to make a phrase then you wouldn't have enough A's or E's, etc. or you couldn't fit it right on the page, especially me, since I love making 8.5x11 pages and it just doesn't look the same. Period. With this baby you have so many gorgeous titles, phrases, etc... and it cuts so amazing!
And for the girl that messaged me on Facebook asking me if I was going to get rid of the Cricut my answer is no. I don't *hate* my Cricut now because I have the Silhouette. I don't use my Cricut to make layouts at all. I use my Cricut to make altered items such as boxes, or maybe something I want to put on a frame or a few cards (not many), my son's school projects but not for my layouts. Actually I did a football not too long ago and I put it on a layout because I reallllyyyy needed a football on that page but that is probably the only layout I have with a Cricut cut. The Silhouette is more my style of scrapping I guess you can say.

So anyway...here are 2 more layouts I did this week.

I was trying to post this layout the whole morning, Blogger was down, I guess. Anyway, this is a layout that obviously belongs in my Holiday album, ha! So I am either way ahead or way behind, lol!!!
I did add the date under the definition sticker before I put it in my album (not shown here).
I used my SILHOUETTE for the *family* border and the title. I am now going to start another page from this day and I think I may use the same paper collection because I really liked playing with them, easy colors for me, I guess :)

Hi Blogger friends! I hope you are all doing awesome on this HOT Tuesday -at least in Miami heheheh.

I wanted to show you another layout I did on our (Teri and I) weekend of fun and creating with our new babies: the Silhouette.
I used one of the Ki Memories 12x12 pockets to create this layout. For my patterned paper and embellishments I used Echo Park, Bella Blvd & some other brands such as Prima, PTI, etc... I used my Silhouette on the "always together" tab and its a Print and Cut design.
I created another layout to go inside the pocket and since I didn't want it to show from the front of the big layout I cut it at 5x9.

So anyway, I hope you like it and I hope you stop by tomorrow to see another layout I created this weekend.

I hope everyone had a blessed weekend and a great Father's Day. I had an amazing time with my family. Have I mentioned enough times that I ADORE my family?? I think I have :) I think most of you would relate.
Anyway, aside from family time, movie theater, pool time, the lovely rain, shopping & Barnes&Nobles (love that place!) I spent quite a bit on a weekend challenge with my super awesome buddy Teri, have you seen her work?? Amazing!!! since we are both brand new moms to our brand new babies (the SILHOUETTE!!) we decided to PLAY! And it was a lot of fun!!!! We would stop some times because family comes first but we pretty much did lots of creating :) If you have been thinking for a while to get a cutting machine, get the Silhouette. Hands down the best in my opinion! It does everything! You can watch Kristina's and Nichol's tutorials on *some* of the things that it does. It is just awesome!

So here is 1 of the layouts I did. I love this picture of my awesome boys. Look at my son's face, that is the face of a boy that literally melts for his daddy. This was taken in front of the Cinderella castle at the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party in Orlando and this is how they were waiting for the characters just hugging each other. I just adore these pics.

the print and cut i bought

Lets talk Silhouette, shall we? I love it! Period. Is it clear? ha!
So last night I learned a few things thanks to my scrapbook buddy, Teri and today I was playing with the online store and put quite a few things on my wish list. All the images are so gorgeous and I just love the titles, phrases, etc...
Last night I bought my 1st Prints and Cut images and its a set of tags. I am using one of them on a layout I'm currently working on of my munchkins. Here's a picture of it so you can see it, aren't they cute? And look at these other tags (2nd pic), love them. Those made it to my wish list too :)

Okay, I've been gone for so long that I hadn't seen the new changes to Blogger...or is it that I haven't been here in so long that I see it different?? hmmm ha!!!
Well, it was kind of hectic during the last weeks for my son's school with all the activities and such. But I am back.... I have to thank some of you for sending me a message thru youtube and thru my email (Hi Teri, Evelyn, Shana, Annie, Mari and a guy named "John" that sent me a really funny message) asking, 'WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU??"

I plan on blogging more from now on. And I have to tell you a few things. So here it goes:

1st- Happy Birthday to me! Yes, it's my Bday today. 3? years ago a star was born ahahahahaha
2nd- I have a new hobby...It's really addictive and its something that I never thought I would do in a million years but I'm glad I started and so far it's been soooo fun for me, hubby and even my kids (especially Cristian) ha!
3rd- I bought a bday gift to myself and here is a little HINT! Do you see the picture??
YES, the Silhouette machine!!!
I have been wanting this machine for about 1.5 years and I finally decided to get it, it was not comparable to Mac before and then they finally updated it for Mac users but I had just gotten the green Expression and stuff but the truth is that the Silhouette is without a doubt more comparable (haahhaha) to my type of scrapbooking. But what really did it for me is when I found out that some of my favorite companies have designs for them. So I did it!!!! And I don't feel guilty at all. I guess because I've been wanting it for a long time but I have also thought about it forever. And now I am having lots of fun adding to My Library.
The super EXTRA fun thing is that my scrapbook buddy Teri just got hers too and I am sooooooo happy!!!!!!!!! So Im going to take notes next time I talk to her! Yippppieeee!!!!

Ribbon Galore!!!

I just received my box from PaperTreyInk and I am loving it. While I was purging my ribbons a week or so ago I decided that I needed to buy some happy (take my breath away) colors. I had lots of ribbons with patterns on them such as hearts, stars, etc... purged all that. I did keep all my ribbons (with patterns) from KiMemories because you all know how I ADORE that company but anything that was not Ki and had patterns on them, BYE BYE!

And so today I welcome these beauties to BFF my old ones. It took exactly 10days from the day I ordered and it was thru PayPal so to me it took a long time but, it's ok.

I *finally* got/found the rustic twine I've been

looking for. I have something similar to it but this is the one! So I got both colors :)

I realized that 80% of the time I use polka dots, classic grosgrain or stitched (my favorite) ribbon so I wanted to stack up on these.

I created a file with all these ribbons w their pictures that way when I go low I know exactly which ones I'm missing.

I mean, really, who can resist ribbons with names such as: Hawaiian Shores, Raspberry Fizz, Orange Zest, Summer Sunrise, etc...? Right!

Soooo this is my order confirmation of my Cricut Expression 2. Yep, this email was received at exactly 12:18am.

And you'll also see how this morning I cancelled the order via iphone.

Why you may ask? Well, I refused to be sucked into this. I just bought the green Expression 5 months ago (after donating 2 others). I understand that this new machine has 2 or 3 new cool things like the fact that you are able to use the imagine cartridges BUT here is why I know this won't work for me, I hate the screen. It's like the Gypsy. I have the Gypsy. I don't like it at all. I never ever use it. I understand the cool features and stuff but I just cannot stand the screen. So I thought this morning and I realized that I had made that purchase because I was sucked into it. Up until yesterday I was as sure as I am sitting here that I don't care for that machine. I've seen mypinkstamper's videos and I just don't like it and here I was ordering it last night. Why do we do that to ourselves? If someday I get to like the Gypsy (or even turn it on, ha!) and see that oh yes, I could love the E2 I'll give it a try but for now it's not going to happen.

With that being said if you don't own an Expression, love your Gypsy, etc.. then this is the machine for you for sure and the price is not bad considering the flex pay.

So whether you bought or not enjoy the things you have and don't let your life be consumed by *stuff*.

Hello my Blogger friends!!

OMGosh, its been a while. I have been creating (a lot) again :) and I have been in the mood for summer pages. I LOVE making those, don't you? I think it's the pretty blues, oranges, hot pinks and greens that make me feel so happy when I make them.

I was also organizing my room. I had piles of newer/new stuff everywhere. I purged some stuff and got rid of 33 glass jars. Yes, THIRTY-THREE!! Can you believe it?? I donated them to a friend that is making her room now. My next "big" task is purging my ribbons. Well, I have actually been in the process of that but I have not finished yet. You know how we all accumulate enough ribbons for us and the whole street. Well, I decided to keep ONLY the ones that take my breath away ahahhaahah. And that is the way I will approach supplies from now on. Buying "only what I like" it's not working anymore because I seem to be liking everything. So from now on it needs to take my breath away. HA!

Speaking of ribbons, I bought quite a few from PaperTreyInk and I bought some new goodies from 2peas. I have a video haul here. Im missing some stuff from my order plus the PaperTreyInk order.

I have been practicing with my Copics and I have to say my friends that I need an EMERGENCY Copic class like yesterday! OMSweetMotherofMarkers, the skin is driving me insane!!! Im getting the hair but the skin! OH THE SKIN!!!

No packages today :( Hopefully Monday, yea! Ok, so off to scrapbook. I think I might do a few summer pages. Love those!

Monarch Butterfly Punch

Ok, so I read the comment a blogger left me and I decided to check what she suggested and here is what I found.

I went on the Martha Stewart channel and saw how they used these double punches. To be completely honest I am disappointed by them. I really don't see the point of this punches the way they were "meant to be used" because it just doesn't work. The only way that it cuts (leaving the a few edges attached) like the video says is if you use a SUPER THIN paper but if you want to use that technique with regular card stock, you might as well forget it. And to answer whether or not this punch cuts like a regular punch, it definitely does. You just have to call your muscular boyfriend or hubby so they can punch them for you, ha!! I gave it to my husband and he was never able to do the double punch technique BUT he was able to punch it out completely. Check out this youtube video HERE to see how this youtuber used this punch.

Can someone please tell me (vent) what the heck is going on with Martha Stewart's punches?? They all seem to be defective!!! The borders I posted a few days ago are fine, it always happens to me with the single image ones. I am about to post a video on YouTube about this and if Martha calls me then I'll be like...I was just kidding, I love you!! ha!!

Anyway, I *THINK* I might be able to tell in the future which ones are more likely to give me problems IF my theory is true, which you and I know that is unlikely to happen, ha!!

So here is *MY* theory: Look at the pictures 4 & 5 (click on them so you can see them bigger). Picture 4 has a solid metal around and picture 5 has an indentation (sp?). Well, if it has the solid metal w no indentation then that punch will most likely be defective, in this case the Monarch Butterfly punch. So in *MY* experience the punches that have worked perfect has been the ones with the indentation piece (3in1butterfly).

And with this I hope I just discovered one of life's greatest mysteries!

And the last picture, well...that is just to make you jealous, ha!

BTW in case you don't know all NEW cartridges in Michaels are 34.99 so hurry up and buy! Campin' Critters and Kate's ABC are super expensive everywhere online. I've seen them on Ebay over $70 and I even saw it at $99 CCRRRaaaaZZZyyyyyyYYY!

Mini Haul!!

Hellooo Blogger friends!!!

Wanted to show you the smallest haul ever! ha!

Here are the latest punches I got from Martha Stewart collection. These are the sets. The biggest one is gorgeous! It was $32.99 and it is called Double Arch Large Punch. The other one is Ribbon Loop Punch and it was 24.99. I LOVE them both. The loop one reminds me of the Doodlebug border stickers that I use on my layouts a lot so I decided it would be good to have. I also sub'd to the Cricut magazine and it has lots of super cute ideas. I also received the Scrapbook Trends, Im not sure now if its like a special thing where they will be sending a few for the next few months or if I actually sub'd or not, don't remember.

And now the exciting part (well, the Double Arch Punch is up there w this next thing), the KATE'S ABCs CARTRIDGE!!! My super awesome friend Monica got it for me yesterday at Joann's and I was soooo happy. I had blogged about this cartridge long time ago, remember?

Its super cute and ideas are PILING in my head! ha!!

In case you don't know I just found out that if your Joann's do not have it you can get the sku # (on cricut.com) and they can special order it for you but you'll need to go to the store to pay it in person. So you could still get this cartridge even if your Joann is not a Super Joann or Big Joann or whatever.... I love for everyone to have new goodies so if your Joann doesn't have it, don't worry, you can still get it :0) ha! How do I know that? Because I will be special ordering another cartridge myself, heheheh!

So off I go to play with my cartridge and my ideas.

I have been soooo super busy!!! You guys have no idea what we have under our sleeves right now but it's something big! Well, lets just say we are looking into spaces to put a scrapbook store here in Miami!!! Never in a gazilliooonnn years did I ever thought of this BUT God's has plans and whether it happens or not we don't know, it's up to Him. I just know that we are working on it ;)

But more on that much later :)

Awesome Spring Break week!

I had a wonderful week! Hubby was home, Cristian w no school and Mia, well, she was just being her precious self. Have I mentioned I am in love with my princess? And of course you all know how much I adore my prince.

I don't think I've shared this layout yet and I was able to do more cards and use those delicious Copics :)

Anyway, loved having hubby home with us. We had a great

time, very relaxing.

Here are a few pics.

With lots of toys in their rooms they choose to play with they things they shouldn't. Oh well, I refuse to stress out about that. ( excuse the mess). We put some of those wall sticker thingys in Mia's room. It looks so adorable, much nicer irl. Very cartoonish. This set has 2 more owls with lime green on them and they are adorable. I put those in my scraproom :)

The 1 in Mia's room is hot pink and orange but the lighting is bad here so you can really tell. I also got her THIS PILLOW.

And it's pool time! We went to ToysRus and got the kiddos some fun things for them to play in the pool such as water blasters, etc.. Mia got her own scooter, ha!

OMGosh! I just came across these!!! Aren't they adorable. You can find them HERE.

Sooo my hubby surprised me yesterday telling me that he was going to take me to get more Copics! Yippieee! So we went today :) I GOT 80 more!!! OMG! I am happy and feel so blessed to be able to have a bit more options and blendings. He says he wants to start drawing again which its going to be GREAT for my growing collection! If I was to get them all (which its very unlikely) I would still be missing about another 80, YIKES!!! But who's counting!! HA!!!

Anyway, here is my rainbow (actually a few more than the rainbow, heehehe) but you get the idea. Did I mention I got the cubbies from Studio3Solutions? I'm sure you have all seen them. They hold a ton of Copics. For ex. I am only missing 2 of the reds in the whole sketch collection and its almost to the top but it will hold those 2 if I get them. For the violets there are only like 15 of them, I'm missing 2 so there is plenty of space. So in case you're deciding on them you know how much it'll hold more or less. There are tons of the earth tones so I know that I'll need to use 2 of the squares for those, Im missing about 20 but then again this is ONLY *if* you are planning on getting them all.

So make room for the buddies!!! Here are your new friends!!!

Hello everyone!!! I am so excited to tell you that I learned how to *rabbit* (or speed up hehehe) my videos! I am so happy about that. Here are 2 videos I did. Yes, TWO! ha!

I started playing last night with iMovie and was able to figure out a few things and I had to give it a try so I hope you guys like it. The sound is supposed to be a song but I guess it takes long to upload or I just didn't do it right but if anything I'll figure it out.

I went yesterday to SCRAPYLAND (the ONLY scrapbook store in Miami), he has AWESOME prices, he is really an online store but you can shop there too. I bought a *few* Copics and ONE stamp. How good was that? Well, not that good when it came to Copics, yikes! I am anxiously waiting to get my Studio 3 Solution units today. I cant wait! Which means I will FOR SURE re-arrange my entire scraproom just because of that! We never stop in our studios. Is it only me??

Hello my awesome blogger friends! I hope everyone is having an amazing weekend! I am sooo happy! Why? Well, the fact that I don't have to worry about my son's school stuff is reason enough to make a party! I am praying that by the time my daughter starts school I no longer care if she gets and A or a D. Anyyywayyyyyy....

As I was saying I'm so happy, hubby started his vacations and that means I take a break from my kids because he will literally do everything for them since he doesn't get to spend much time with them. And that means: BLOG, SCRAPBOOK, ME TIME!! Did that sound selfish? It did? OH WELL, HA!!!

Remember when I tried opening my Etsy a few weeks or months ago and it was giving me an error with the size of the pictures being uploaded? Well, I don't know what happened but I tried it again today and it worked. So my ETSY SHOP IS NOW OPEN!! I cant wait to sell my 1st card! God knows I need something like this for my sanity! Well, I must say that the *disaster* video was a hit! hahahahhah If I was to put all the video I've done that have similar or worse disasters you guys would crack up!

Donna Downey & HAUL!!

Hi my blogger friends! Here are 2 videos, yes 2! So hold on to your chairs! ha!!! I had a great time today :) I went with my friends Annie, Teri & Kasi to the Donna Downey's class and we had a great time. I met Teri & Kasi today actually and I absolutely love her and her gorgeous daughter Kasi, who was the guest of honor in Donna's class. Donna just loved her and Kasi was in heaven with her. OMG! I just realized I didn't take any pictures of them! WHAT?!!!!!!! :(

Anyway,in these videos I didn't show some of the things I received from 2peas because it was going to take too long. But I will tell you that the Enchanted collection from Imaginisce is sooo cute!

Maybe I'll do another video with the rest of the things ;)

Donna Downey Class!

Yippieeee! Going to Donna Downey's class this Sunday.

I was not planning on going at all because I didn't want to miss church and especially this weekend that is going to be awesome (again), but I really, really, really need a class right now. I need inspiration and she is the go-to-girl for that. I also need to get out of my routine. It's been yearssss since I went to a class so I will be listening to the service on my way over to my friend's house. And I'll be meeting a super awesome scrapbooker TERI (check out her blog). Haven't told her yet, heheheeh :)

Sooo, have you seen all the gorgeous, beautiful, new things in the scrapbooking world! It is absolutely gorgeous! So many cute stuff!!!!

I did some major damage today on 2peasinabucket.com ,my favorite place to shop all things scrapbook.

Here are *some* things I ordered and I cannot wait to use it all :)

I have been scrapping too. I have done a few pages and I did cute Valentines for school. I also went to Joann's about 2 weeks. This is probably my 3rd time there ever. I've bought tons of card stock that I will only use for my Cricut stuff. The last time I was there when I got home I had to re-organize all my card stock because I had piles of it around the room. So now all my CS is nice and organized.

I got the CropperHoppers paper holders THESE and I do not like them. I wanted to try them to see how it would look but I really like the ones I have had for a long time so I will have to order them again this week. HERE are the ones I have and like.

I have been a good girl and have kept my Project Life up to date and I absolutely love this album. It will for sure be a favorite to look at from time to time. Here is something (pic. of me) you may find in that album. HA!!!

No school today and Cristian's homeworks are done and that equals HAPPINESS!!!

So I wanted to let you know that I went to Joann's this morning and got tons of *core'dinations* papers. I also got another pack of Kraft, a pack of Blacks and Vellum.

They have lots of border punches and regular punches 40% and others 50% off. As well as tons of Clear Stamp Sets for 4.97 I didn't buy ANY but just wanted to let you know. They have lots of stuff on sale.

Today I am working with Birthday Bash cartridge AGAIN. This is my favorite cartridge right now. I got some new cartridges too.

Speaking about cartridges, did you see the new ones coming out?? OMGosh, these are sooo cute!!!!

I used my Bind it All this morning...(remember? the one I got 3YEARS AGO EXACTLY) without reading any instructions...well, I'm sure the million how to videos I saw about it helped me but hey, it was still a little intimidating (the punching part). I almost messed up and punched covers and inner pages the same but I got it just in time.

I have been a really good girl with the Project Life, more of that another time.

I am doing Project Life and I am taking pictures daily. Tonight I want to start putting all the stuff together. I have a feeling this is going to be one of my favorites if not my very favorite album.

I found a new blog! and omgosh! I am LOVING IT!!! You have got to check her out. It's full of awesome info. so you can spend a week on this blog easy and you would not be done.

She is also doing the Project Life btw, there are pics of her previous album in the blog section. She also has this list that I thought you would like to see so here is the LINK. This will make it A LOT easier. Trust me! I suggest you print the list. I think I might just go down the list, ha!

I bet by looking at these photos you would not guess that this has been one of the hardest years of my life. I have been pretty much silent since yesterday. For some reason I have been reflecting on so much. I've expressed "I hate 2010" to my hubby lots of times and I immediately feel guilty by saying that because I know that I am supposed to "be joyful always" as the bible clearly says it. But the truth is that this year has been a tough one for me and of course my family. Hubby and I have tried to keep it normal for the kids, it has been really hard. The truth is that I am so happy 2010 is gone!

I bet you also did not know that it got to the point that I could not walk. Literally. I could not sit, I could not stand. I thought I was going to die. I thought of my kids so much and what would happened to them.

The simple task of unfolding a diaper out of the box it was a major struggle for me. I would drive my son to school in tears. But I will leave it at that.

This post is about how even though I was going thru a very rough time I still managed to smile. My kids gave me the strength to go thru it. My husband was a blessing. He helped me thru it all and God, well, he is my King and is carrying me thru it all.

We did lots of things this year. Visited many places and took 2 vacations the last one was really good for all of us, I was feeling great and we were very thankful to God. Mia started to walk and talk. Cristian continues to be amazing. Hubby and I became really one this year. We have always loved each other but this year was really amazing for our marriage and I did something I almost never did. I totally depended on him. I have always been the one who would "control" the house, my kids, etc...Not this year. I could not do anything without him. It got us even closer, if that is even possible. We remodeled our kitchen and I chose antique WHITE! Never in a million did I ever think I would do that, ha! Actually, we have not finished. We still need our island and paint! Holy molly! I forgot about that!

May God overflow our homes with health, happiness and love. May He allow us to focus on the important things in life. May we remember to thank Him every single day for every blessing. Believe me, if you write them in paper you'll see there are lots and lots. And may we remember that when something goes "wrong" is for our benefit. Jeremiah 29:11 says "I have plans to prosper you, not harm you, plans to give you hope and future." Is that awesome or what?

For years I have always done all kinds of things at midnight. The 1st thing I do is throw kisses towards heaven to God, my mom & for the past 3 years, my oh so loved uncle, I do the grapes, the famous (for Cubans) bucket of water, the running around the block with suitcase, etc...yes, lots of more stuff, ha! by 12:05am Im exhausted!

This year I will end 2010 and receive 2011 in a totally different way. I am going to do it praying and praising God. That is all I feel like doing this year.

So what ever it is you do and how ever you want to end it, may it be with the people you love.

2011 Word: Giving

I was out on vacation for a week but that did not stop my Tivo from recording my oh so loved Martha Stewart shows. Nope. In fact, yesterday I saw one of the shows called The Giving Show and I just absolutely loved it. I have always loved watching these kinds of shows. I have seen so many of them on Oprah, people that have created something and somehow by the grace of God it has turned out to be something huge and I have ALWAYS dreamt of doing something similar.

Like the little girl that collecting pennies have been able to donate over a million dollars. Like the pj's charity, like the lady that gave $100 every single day for a year to different charities (how awesome is that?!!), I just simply adore those types of people that proof that you can do anything if you have the desire and heart to do it.

But, I have the desire to do it and I think I have the heart too. Why haven't I done something like this?? What is stopping me? Or what am I letting get in the way? I have thought so much since I saw the show about what is keeping me from doing something big.

I mean, I have given the basket (if you have read my other blog then you know), I helped with Katrina, Haiti, I've gone on a Christmas shopping spree for 2 kids of a struggling mom, have made food for the less fortunate, have helped with school supplies for kids, and I am an adopted mom of a boy in Honduras, etc.. but I really want to do this on a regular basis not just during the the last months of the year. I want to go full force with this.

God knows that in no way shape or form I am trying to tell you what I have done or not done to help others to get ANY type of praise, ALL praises should go to God, I am just trying to get some ideas so if you have any PLEASE let me know. I would also love for lots of you to join me and maybe we can do something really HUGE together.

For now I have a little idea that I *know* everyone would love. It has to do with cookies and our awesome troops.

All I know is that I am going to ask God for guidance so that I dont lose focus, so that I do not let the everyday get in the way of what I have been wanting to do for years. Especially Cristian's school, that absorbs life out of me. So I need to pray a lot.

We have been so blessed and God has giving us so much that it feels like a must to me to do something more. So if you have any ideas please let me know. If you would like to write to me in details then email me.

I hope that everyone that reads this gets motivated to do something good, little or big on 2011.
